New Idea

By his4ever - Posted on 24 August 2008

So I am working on a new idea. As usual.

This is the beginning of a new product for my Etsy.com store. I am hoping to mount it onto wood. The brackets I have made thinner and I think I might be going with a different verse. Not sure yet tho. I am afraid the picture might end up being too dark... but we will see. I am going to do a test print tomorrow. I am hoping to incorporate some mod podge in this project so that I can offer something that is more than just a print.

More about the image:
The girl came from another image if you could not tell. I have no idea who she is. She was in one of my shots on one of my street photography trips. Since she is not identifiable, I feel comfortable using her image. The irony... she was a photographers assistant. She was helping the photographer with some wedding photography!
There was a storm coming in while I was going to Walmart. I pulled over to stop and take this picture from my car. It was so thrilling! The image sadly came out a little too dark. So I am getting lots of noise. I add some more noise to give it a grainy feel.

About my boys:
We got our first case of Hand Foot Mouth Sickness. We are getting through it ok. So oh well!

Have a blessed day!

I would be proud of that photo too! I hope it prints well.

I like the verse you have here. It's very true. Many times, when I'm out, the sky makes the biggest difference in my photos. If I don't have a good sky to include in my background, I probably won't take the shot. God's glory can certainly be seen through the infinite variations in how the sky is displayed!

Kristie it is beautiful. that is the kind of art I would hang up in my home. I love it!

Thanks guys for your comments. They are very encouraging. I have to admit, I have been working on this project for a year.. but I will soon be rolling it out when I have the finishing touches done!
